Aston Martin has unveiled the Vanquish 25 to mark the 25th anniversary of the nameplate, with prices starting at £430,000. This limited edition is available globally and will consist of only 50 units in total, celebrating a legacy that began in 2001.
Designed and specified by the company’s Q Department, the vehicle features a special “Skye Silver” paint finish. The exterior includes metal foil detailing on the sills and a stainless steel exhaust finisher. The car also rides on 21-inch wheels and is fitted with stainless steel side strakes. Visually, the 25th anniversary trim includes distinct badging on the wheel arches and headrests.
Inside, the cabin utilizes a black Alcantara headlining and laser-etched AM trim inlays. Buyers can select from three interior color options, including black, tan, and grey, with unique trim perforation patterns adding further detail to the cabin. This bespoke approach ensures a level of personalization often reserved for top-tier commissions.
Power and performance
Under the hood lies a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. This powertrain develops 818 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. It enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 214 mph, securing its position as the brand’s range-topping model.

The standard Vanquish model begins at £338,000, indicating that the premium for this new edition stems from the bespoke Q Division styling rather than a substantial upgrade in mechanical performance. The name gained fame in a blockbuster 007 movie, which further raises the car’s status. This reflects a trend in the luxury automotive sector where heritage editions often justify higher price points through exclusivity and craftsmanship instead of raw engineering gains. By focusing on the cultural legacy of the name, the marque positions the car less as a utilitarian machine and more as a collectible artifact of the brand’s history.
Vittorio Gabba, who oversees the Q Division, commented on the significance of the name. He stated that anyone familiar with the brand would understand the provenance of “Vanquish” in its modern history. Gabba noted that 25 years after the unveiling of the first Vanquish, it is appropriate to recognize the contribution this nameplate has made to Aston Martin’s heritage.
The production run is split evenly between the coupe and the volante. With just 25 examples of each planned, the Aston Martin Vanquish 25 is expected to be one of the rarest Astons currently available. As Q famously said in the 007 movie, ‘Aston Martin calls it the Vanquish, we call it the vanish,’ which suggests the car may vanish from dealerships rapidly. Despite the high price tag, officials have reported that there has been a significant amount of interest in the model.
